In the service of randomness, I feel compelled to post this. It’s called “Ben Bernanke”. Figure that out. Or don’t… just enjoy it and then walk around telling people you are a furious magician and you need their teeth for the federal reserve. (Like I intend to do. Brilliant!)
I found it via dooce (Thank you, Heather B. Armstrong, I have the giggles now). According to you tube, it originates at Rojhelio Studios (click to see some of their other videos as well).
Wow. So an evil genius over at OhNoTheyDidn’t posted the most brilliant and absurd pictorial comparison post I’ve ever seen. I wish there were awards for this kind of thing, because this person is full of win.
Seriously, just click the link right now, if for nothing else, to grasp the full scope of this “project”. (I don’t even know what to call it, it’s so amazing and silly and wonderful!)
When a mortal girl must face the dawning of a new day… her only hope is to find, within herself, the strength to endure and harness the power of… caffeine.
I haven’t gone to sleep and I need to leave for work in an hour!
(This is a reference to this book cover, and a testament to my love affair/addiction to coffee, my crazy schedule and the mind-boggling attack of silliness that occurs when I am sleep-deprived.)
I know, I know. I’m ridiculous. The sad thing is? Right now, I find myself hilarious. Even sadder? Even as I joyfully jest, I am reminded of how disappointing I found this book to be.
This makes me very happy. More people should do their own strange little dances, all over the world. And then we can all join in and be strange and dancing together.
