Bearonce!

I was fairly boring for Halloween.  I had to work.  But that’s ok, my good buddy Joe made up for everyone else’s boring Halloween by doing this:

(Two angles so you can see all the fab moves)

Amazing, right?   You’re welcome.   Extra points because his “cover” costume that he took off to morph into “Bearonce” was a Dharma Initiative Jumpsuit.  Love it.

h/t to Joe and Ben D. for the videos.

I Rest My Case.

In my earlier post, I expressed doubts at my original gut reaction, that it was Kate’s eye in the promo.   I was frustrated because I couldn’t find a good picture of Evangeline Lily doing that big wide-eyed shocked or scared Kate face that she does.  At the very least, I wanted a good shot without makeup to see the shape of her eye. …Or is it Jack’s Eye or Ben’s Eye?

I received responses from many people who thought it was Jack’s or Ben’s eye.  I remain unconvinced.

My official theory is that the eye in the promo is meant to be a direct parallel to the times we’ve seen Jack’s eye and it specifically was made to closely resemble Jack’s but is not actually his.

But just for the sake of being thorough, let’s discuss and examine. Continue reading

on that mysterious eye in the LOST 2010 promo

So, I thought that someone would have done this already, but I couldn’t find it anywhere.   We need a photo comparison to investigate whose eye that is on the LOST final season 2 second promo teaser!

The way eye see it… (what, you didn’t really expect me to get through this without a bad pun, did you?) there are only two possibilities:

Hope for Dollhouse?

I feel like I really shouldn’t be getting my hopes up, but…

The other day Eliza Dushku’s twitter indicated that they are “in talks” with fox… which sounded like good news.   Next thing I read was that this Monday was the absolute latest they would have an answer about “Dollhouse”  (and other shows, like my fav. Terminator).  And now I came across this, on the tv industry blog The Live Feed:

Sources say Dollhouse fans shouldn’t lose hope; that despite the show’s recent ratings, the show is still alive. Whedon pitched the network on his vision for season two late last week. Discussions have commenced between Fox and the studio about how to make the show work financially.

I’m afraid to count on that, but that does actually sound like good news.  Or at least, Fox is giving it more consideration then I thought they were likely to.

Fingers still crossed.

And now that all three of my favorite-favorite shows this year have finished their seasons, I’m working on some “favorite moment” recap lists.   The “Dollhouse” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” posts should be up soon.    After last night’s finale, the “LOST” post might take a while, because my brain needs to stop processing those two hours and actually remember the rest of the season.
