on that mysterious eye in the LOST 2010 promo
So, I thought that someone would have done this already, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. We need a photo comparison to investigate whose eye that is on the LOST final season 2 second promo teaser!
The way eye see it… (what, you didn’t really expect me to get through this without a bad pun, did you?) there are only two possibilities:
1. It’s Kate.
It looks like her “scared” face, that all-big-eyes, gaping look that we have seen a few times before. The comparison below is tough, because I couldn’t find a picture that both had that look and/or was without makeup. Kate’s eyes have also looked more greenish on a number of occasions, so the color really could be a match.
Immediately after watching it the first time, I had already decided it was her. But now, I’m not so sure. Take a look and then read on.
OR
2. It’s Juliet
Ok now, I was thinking definitely NOT Juliet, because her eyes are a noticeably clear blue! However – Could it be a trick of the light or the camera angle or the reflection making them look green? Because the shape is definitely similar, except that I would think her eyes would open bigger/rounder if she was scared. Take a look, this definitely makes me wonder:
And then if it IS Juliet – does that mean that she is definitely still alive?
I wanted for a minute to consider that it could be Claire
Just because that would be cool.

Any thoughts? Kate or Juliet? Why and why not? And what does that mean for the next season?

The husband (who says hi!) has determined that it’s Kate’s eye, based on the recess of the nose. There’s a fairly big recess between the eye and the nose in the pic, and Kate has that while Juliet doesn’t really. I think he’s got a point.

I also thought it was Jack when I first saw the preview (image of his eye here), because his is the eye we usually see and he does have green eyes after all. He also has the recess of the nose.
However, the skin is noticeably paler in the picture above. I also thought this could be the lighting. What’s really convincing me that it’s not him is that we can’t really see any eyebrow at all (only tiny itty bitty bit in the top right) in the picture above, and Matthew Fox’s eyebrows seem rather close to his eye. And I don’t think the LOST producers would make Matthew Fox wax his eyebrow just to throw us off. Though it would be hilarious if they did.

I’m with your first commenter; I think it’s a Ben Linus eye. It looks like the right shape. He has green eyes. And there is clearly no eye shadow, leading me to believe it is a male eye.

Good gosh almighty… that´s defnitely juliet´s eye,cause juliet end the 5th season with a bangin white flash and so of course she will beginn the new era, shiftin further back in time with her friends to unveal the mysteries of black rock, jakob and his nemesis.
BTW i found an interesting note n the movie zeitgeist…

that´s the point when i start thinking abaout what is lost about… maybe the creators would show us the diversity of people working together on an island under one religion fightin against old and ancient problems… not about christians not about muslims not about jews, it´s about the beginnin of all religions in egypt.

I just watched a commercial preview for next season on tv and I definitely watched it over and over again and put it on slow-motion at the eye part… it’s totally a guy’s eye! There’s eyebrow hairs underneath the brow line and there’s no woman who would have ungroomed eyebrows like that. It’s definitely a man and I definitely think it looks most like Jack’s eye than anyone else’s

Ben doesn’t have green eyes. He has either gray or blue eyes. It looks mostly like Jacks but really, that would be too obvious. I don’t think this is any of the main characters. I think we’ll get a surprise shocker at the end of the season. Its also definitely not Juliets because he eyes are blue and the shape isn’t correct. The only thing right about that is the skin color would match Juliet’s. But its not her.
