I wish this would be broadcast on the nightly news in every town and city in America.
I wish people were forced to expose their most hateful/fearful/pious/biased thoughts and try to connect them directly to the human lives, loves and faces of these beautiful couples and families, friends and children.
I don’t know how it could be more obvious to anyone with a brain and a heart, that it doesn’t match up.
That the right to marry is not something they can provide or withhold. That power does not belong to them, any more than the rights we are fighting for actually can be granted by another human being or a government. We already have those rights. They just aren’t currently recognized or protected from our government and very many ignorant and/or hateful people.
