PhotoBlog: When the Snow was still fun.
I took these pictures at 2 in the morning back in December. It was the first big snow of the season. I couldn’t remember having snow that was up to my knees since I was a kid. So I bundled up and went outside and reveled in the total indulgence of getting to disturb a couple of feet of freshly fallen, untouched snow. It was completely heavenly.
Since then, there have been many snow and ice storms this winter. I am pretty much at my limit with bone-chilling cold, falling on my ass twice a day and needing to park at the end of our dirt road if I want to use my car at all. The weather has gotten milder and I can feel everything around me aching for Spring. Or maybe it’s just me. Anyway… I wanted to post these pictures, because it’s fun to pause to remember that part of this season when it was new + beautiful, before I get to move on.
