Art + Projects
Fall 2008
I am writing a Young Adult fiction novel. I hope to be completely finished with my first draft by the end of November 2008.
Darcy and I are opening a little etsy store that will feature lots of home-made goodies like prints, cards, knits and lots of misc. painting + mixed media artwork.
I have many zygotes of projects scattered around my brain and my house. I will write more about them as they develop.
July 2008
I will be teaching a week long session of Summer Camp at the Warwick Museum of Art. My course is called “Painting Like a Pro”, which is basically art history + painting for kids. We will study one artist per day and the the kids will work with one of the artist’s famous basic features or techniques to practice painting and make their own work. I will write more details in the blog as this is happening, right now I’m just having fun figuring out my lesson plans!
