about an artist: Jim Denney
I hadn’t heard of this artist until a few minutes ago, when I saw a piece about him on my favorite design blog, Apartment Therapy. The examples of his work in that one little profile blew me away. I think its partially where I am right now in my life. I just moved to a rural location and I’m reconnecting with nature in a big way. There is nothing in my day to day life that I find as beautiful as my own backyard and the sky and the ocean and aspects of light, shadows, plants. Spring is happening and I’m happening with it.
So maybe its just a grand little coincidence that I saw this now, but it feels like a gift because his work resonates so deeply with me. I’m awed and inspired that he can capture scenes like this:
