Hope for Dollhouse?
I feel like I really shouldn’t be getting my hopes up, but…
The other day Eliza Dushku’s twitter indicated that they are “in talks” with fox… which sounded like good news. Next thing I read was that this Monday was the absolute latest they would have an answer about “Dollhouse” (and other shows, like my fav. Terminator). And now I came across this, on the tv industry blog The Live Feed:
Sources say Dollhouse fans shouldn’t lose hope; that despite the show’s recent ratings, the show is still alive. Whedon pitched the network on his vision for season two late last week. Discussions have commenced between Fox and the studio about how to make the show work financially.
I’m afraid to count on that, but that does actually sound like good news. Or at least, Fox is giving it more consideration then I thought they were likely to.
Fingers still crossed.
And now that all three of my favorite-favorite shows this year have finished their seasons, I’m working on some “favorite moment” recap lists. The “Dollhouse” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” posts should be up soon. After last night’s finale, the “LOST” post might take a while, because my brain needs to stop processing those two hours and actually remember the rest of the season.
